Sitting out here on the front step enjoying the early morning quiet and chill. The street is slowly coming alive with action - little kids walking over to catch the bus, moms and dads hustling behind them with forgotten lunches and books, other people looking harried as they jump in the cars to beat the morning rush hour. A little microcosm of the big city right here on Tamarack Place.
I'm getting some excellent work done. Nothing like some solitude, a cup of earl grey and the early sun to get you revved up for the day. Murphy is out here with me - looking a little bored. (Tough life he has!)
We are off to Vermont for some cyclo-cross racing this weekend. Fun.
Didn't get any knitting done last night. Too much other stuff to do. You know typical Thursday night activities - bike cleaning, packing, stew making (a most excellent stew from the Eat Clean Diet Cookbook), some work, etc. The usual. I did manage to catch a few snippets of ER and Grey's. Not enough to keep me interested. From what little I saw, it looks like ER will be more interesting than Grey's this year...
Well, I best get back to my emails and work-related typing. Have a great weekend. Check out Ottawa Cross this weekend - should be some race reports posted!
