Some days it feels like time is on my side. I'm super organized blazing through my to do list and making incredible progress. Then other days time is not so friendly. It seems to slip through my fingers and disapper into thin air. My to do list seems to grow and the day just gets shorter.
I'm not sure it is ever possible to find the perfect balance between this time battle. I guess it is like everything else in life - make the most of it when you have it because you never know when you'll have it again.
Right now I've got a few moments before getting into the busyness of my day. It is a double training day with an early morning run already in the legs and a long ride coming up. In between and around this I've got lots of great writing work to do. Yes, a busy day but I'm hoping time is on my side...
The long weekend was pretty darn good. Good bike riding. Some tasty meals. Good times with friends. Time to relax. I did work on Monday but I snuck away for a good ride with Marc to nearby Richmond - we took a break on a park bench and just sat - a perfect recovery ride. In the movie department, we watched Horrible Bosses. It wasn't horrible. In fact it was pretty darn funny. I was entertained. I liked it. We also watched Liar Liar (yes the Jim Carrey movie) - this movie is and was bad. Don't watch it.
Okay, well this is about all I've got for time. Have a good Wednesday. Isn't it amazing how a long weekend seems to speed up the rest of the week. Even when it wasn't really a long weekend? Signs of good life I suppose.
